EOL UADs
Please note that devices that have reached End-of-Life (EOL) status are no longer supported. When a manufacturer announces EOL for a certain device, Bicom System announces it as well, because our company no longer has support for the particular device from the manufacturer. This does not mean that our partners are no longer able to use these devices with our software. In most instances, the core functionality of these devices remains intact, allowing users to provision and manually register them. However, it's important to understand that we cannot guarantee consistent performance, as User Agent Devices marked as EOL are no longer actively maintained. Therefore, Bicom Systems cannot provide support for these devices.
Devices not listed on the official UAD page
If a partner is utilizing a device not listed on the supported User Agent Devices (UAD) list and encounters issues, Bicom Systems cannot be held responsible and will not offer support for such devices.
If there is a need for support of a new UAD in PBXware, the partner should make an official request to add support for a specific UAD. On the following WIKI page are the steps to request support for a new UAD.
Bicom Systems officially does not support any other third-party applications used for VOIP/SIP calls. This does not mean that our partners are not able to utilize PBXware services with these applications. Basic manual registration should be functional for any SIP softphone device, but if a partner encounters issues, Bicom Systems cannot be held responsible for it and will not offer support for such applications.
Due to the fact that the DAHDI protocol is outdated and no longer supported, any devices used with it are not supported by Bicom systems.
If a partner is utilizing a device using DAHDI protocol and encounters issues, Bicom Systems cannot be held responsible and will not offer support for such devices.
